About Us:
The Family Institute operates a counseling center and clinical training institute for frum (religious – Chareidi) therapists. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Administrative Director to join our team and help drive our institute’s growth and excellence.
Job Overview:
The Administrative Director will play a crucial role in managing the administrative and operational aspects of the Family Institute. This full-time position requires a balance of high-level management skills and hands-on involvement in daily operations. The ideal candidate will be an integral part of the leadership team, working closely with the Institute Director and Clinical Director to ensure the smooth functioning and continuous improvement of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Responsibility (50%):
- Collaborate with the Institute Director streamlining and improving management processes and systems
- Overall responsibility for daily administrative activities
- Leading and mentoring the administrative team, including secretaries and public relations department
- Participate in management meetings and decision-making processes
- Develop and manage budgets, oversee financial operations
Operational Responsibility (50%):
- Practical responsibility over the logistics of the educational programs, including scheduling and resource allocation
- Maintenance of therapy rooms, offices, and classrooms, space allocation, and equipment procurement
- Implementation and responsibility over the information and documentation systems, such as Tipulog
- Organizing special events, seminars, and graduation ceremonies
- Taking care of tuition collection, salary payments, and client fee management
- Collaborate with the PR director about marketing and recruitment strategies
Qualifications:
- Proven managerial experience of at least 3 years, preferably in educational or therapeutic environments
- Good understanding of financial and budget management
- High-level leadership, organizational, and team management skills
- Full proficiency in Hebrew and English, with native-level writing and verbal skills
- Significant familiarity with the world of therapy and counselling – a distinct advantage
- Experience working with information management systems and software dedicated to institutional management including Microsoft software
- Academic bachelor’s degree, degree in management – an advantage, master’s degree – a significant advantage

- Strong affiliation with or understanding of the Charedi and religious communities
- Adaptable and open-minded approach to change and improvement
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to think creatively
- High level of discretion and respect for confidentiality
- Advanced computer skills, proficiency in Office software, and ability to learn new systems
