The Family Institute offers advanced training for mental health professionals for the Dati/Chareidi community.
The Family Institute of Neve Yerushalayim is a post-graduate training center in counseling and family therapy for religious individuals who have successfully completed graduate studies in mental health related fields. With its wide range of educational offerings, The Family Institute offers professionals a variety of programs aimed at enhancing their knowledge, advancing their clinical skills and helping them better meet the counseling needs of the clients they serve.
The Family Institute offers didactic, clinical and experiential learning opportunities, which correspond to the basic requirements of a well-trained mental health professional; a sound knowledge base, skillful clinical practice, and a conscious use of one’s self.
The programs are designed to be compatible with Charedi and Dati cultures as well as create an atmosphere of learning about how Family Therapy can be culturally sensitive to the Charedi and Dati communities and benefit from encounter with Torah committed families. The language of instruction for The Family Institute is English and clinical work can be completed in Hebrew or English.
