Raphael specializes in the treatment of men, teens and children on a wide range of issues, including acute and complex trauma, relationship issues, faith related issues, anxiety and addictions. While creating a genuine and supportive atmosphere, he draws upon a number of evidenced based, cutting edge therapeutic tools and modalities including IFS, EMDR, Psychodynamic therapy, Mindfullness, Family Systems, Psychodrama and more. Every person is unique and having a well stocked toolbox affords Raphael the ability to assess and, together with the client, design a personally tailored treatment plan and therapy.
Raphael Schondorf is a certified individual and family therapist with a private practice in Jerusalem and Modiin Illit, Israel. He earned his M.Sc. from the University of North Texas with a focus on counseling and family therapy and completed postgraduate clinical training in individual and family therapy at The Family Institute of Neve Yerushalayim. Additionally, he is trained in EMDR from The EMDR International Association, in EMDR for children and adolescents from The European EMDR Association; and in Internal Family Systems (IFS) from The Center for Self Leadership founded by Richard Schwartz.
